Seychelles is named after the Republic of Seychelles, an archipelago nation of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean. The lush tropical paradise, billed as the original Garden of Eden, hosts some of the most amazing marine and wildlife. Spa owner, Caroline Freeman, is a native of this beautiful island nation. Seychelles Spa in Palmetto, Florida – opened in 2005 – provides a variety of health and beauty-related services to a clientele that expects professional conduct, discretion, relaxation, and rejuvenation. Our goal is to provide our clients with a relaxing spa experience to allow them time to focus on the needs of their body and their soul.
Meet the Owner
Caroline Freeman was born in Seychelles, a small group of islands 1,500 miles off the coast of Africa in the Indian Ocean. She moved to the United States with her family at the age of eleven. After completing school, she attended cosmetology school and graduated in April 1990.
Her first Salon opened in Dunedin, FL in 1994 and was sold in 1999 when she moved to Manatee County. Seychelles Spa was founded right here in Palmetto, FL in January 2005.
Caroline has been in the cosmetology industry for over 32 years. She has won several competitions and awards in nails. She enjoys using her creativity in making her clients feel their best in everything she does.
She is married to Jim Freeman, City Clerk of Palmetto, FL, and together they have two beautiful children, Brooke and Braden. Caroline is also a cancer survivor of more than 15 years. With the support of family, friends, and co-workers, she has fought this disease and has emerged as a much stronger person, enjoying life to the fullest.
In her spare time, she enjoys decorating, traveling, and spending time on the family’s boat.
Caroline takes great pride in creating a relaxing, pleasurable, and happy experience for all of her customers.

I recently visited Seychelles Spa for a facial & Dermaplane with Robin Olivio. What a great experience! She took the time to explain what to expect before we got started and was extremely sensitive to me & my experience. She did a tremendous job and I left there feeling very relaxed.
